Longchamp
Considered the ultimate test of thoroughbred racing, the "Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe" combines Europe’s fastest horses and the legendary Longchamp track for an exceptional day of racing.
At the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, 68 hectares are given over to the pursuit of equestrian excellence. Longchamp is one of the most prestigious flat racing tracks in the world. Its name is synonymous with all that is noble in the sport of kings.
Held on the first Sunday in October, this is one of the French racing season's four Classic races and is the major end-of-season middle-distance challenge race in Europe. The race takes place over the classic one-and-a-half mile distance and features the classic winners from England, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy, bringing them together into one breathtaking race. The meeting is also acclaimed as one of the richest races in Europe, with a purse of just over £3million.
The corporate hospitality at Longchamp includes exquisite food, Champagne, fine wines and an open bar throughout the afternoon.
